I Walk The Line

Today I've been married 11 years.  We are in a serious Johnny Cash phase right now in our house.  I think his lyrics do a pretty good job of summing up how I feel.

I find it very, very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each day is through
Yes, I'll admit that I'm a fool for you
Because you're mine, I walk the line

As sure as night is dark and day is light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness I've known proves that it's right
Because you're mine, I walk the line

You've got a way to keep me on your side
You give me cause for love that I can't hide
For you I know I'd even try to turn the tide
Because you're mine, I walk the line

M... I am so grateful you picked me.  I still think I got the better end of the deal, and now I have a lot of proof to back it up. Here is just one example... remember how I planned a camping trip and did it all even though I knew it was going to rain?  Remember how you came straight from work and arrived late at night and then got up early and made all the kids go swimming?  Nobody wanted to go swimming in the rain, but you made them and before long all the kids were laughing and having a fantastic time.  Nobody was thinking about how cold, wet, and miserable they were.  That is so typical of you, and watching you convince our kids to have fun and play in the rain made me fall in love with you all over again.  So yes.  I'm a fool for you.  And I would walk just about any line to be with you.

Here you are... making it fun, in the rain.
